The city-wide Spraoi takeover this past August Bank Holiday weekend brought with it an impressive line-up of street theatre and live music. In the Cultural Quarter highlights included: virtuoso South-American style one-man-band,L’Homme-Orchestre and Miss Mary by artist Kristyn Fontanella, bringing a hauntingly beautiful outdoor dance reimagining the spirit of Ireland’s dance masters. And a SPRAOI MUST SEE this year was MDR – Death From Laughter by Los Gallindos.
And new this year O’Connell street was the official music destination as the Spraoi Heineken Weekender with live music all bank holiday weekend, in partership with Tully’s, Maher’s and Phoenix Yard.
