Local stakeholders presented a showcase of creative projects in Garter Lane Arts Centre with WIT Design and Architecture staff and students, Sean Corcoran of The Art Hand, Waterford Integration Services, representatives of the Irish Multicultural Group as well as presentations by Creative Spirits Ambassador Sarah Jane Hanton & representative of the Polish Community Bart Zdrojowy.

Waterford Cultural Quarter Project Manager Katherine Collins said “Waterford Council has found their participation in the Creative Spirits network to be of great benefit to their work in developing the Waterford Cultural Quarter. Participating in the network has brought opportunities for learning about innovative approaches to working with similar challenges faced by many cities, and will inspire new ways of developing creativity and creative businesses. The delegates were very appreciative of the warm welcome they received from everyone they met in Waterford and many plan to visit again with the hope of working on more projects into the future.”
