Waterford’s newest community space, the Thomas Street Pocket Park, invites local residents, businesses, and anyone interested to a special community engagement event on 26th April from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This event will provide a unique opportunity to see the location where the future Thomas Street Pocket Park will be developed, giving you a glimpse into the exciting plans for this public space.
We are organizing this event in collaboration with the Playful Communities initiative, which aims to foster vibrant, inclusive spaces that encourage fun and meaningful community engagement. The event will offer a chance to connect with neighbours, meet local service providers, and learn about the many services and businesses in the area. There will be stalls from various local organizations, retailers, and community services, offering resources and activities for everyone.
Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and pride within the community while promoting the importance of collaboration and support. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, this event is for you!
In case of rain, the event will be moved to the WCQ Place / CC HUB, located at 16-18 O’Connell Street, Waterford.
