Join SE Craft Studios for an hour of slow craft hands-on fun crafting cool Celtic copper pieces in the Cultural Quarter this St. Patrick’s Weekend —no experience needed! The workshop is free to attend, but booking is essential. Workshops sessions will run on both Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March.
Unwind at this slow craft Celtic Copper workshop and to learn to create your own unique copper treasures using wire and simple jewellery making techniques. Inspired by our ancient Irish heritage create a famous Celtic knot to take home and keep. The workshop will reference ancient Irish carvings found at the ancient heritage site Newgrange and designs from the Book of Kells.

Recommended Age is 12+.

The St. Patrick’s Day Festival will run for five fun-filled days from March 13th–17th, 2026, in Waterford City and will celebrate the very best of what the city has to offer and what makes it the best place to live, work and visit. Other highlights coming to the Cultural Quarter include live music sessions on O’Connell Street and a self-guided Waterford Greenway walking tour where city landmarks will be uplit in green for the weekend that’s in it.
